Lip Scrub: Olive Oil and Brown Sugar

Olive oil is a great natural moisturizer with healing properties that makes the peeling gentle while brown sugar acts as a nice natural scrubber to peel the dead skin away. Lip Scrubs should not be used every day but rather once a week or once in every two weeks. Over exfoliation may lead to scratching even the new layers of the skin. Keep massaging the lip scrub on to the lips for a few minutes until your lips feel smooth and soft. After that, wash it with lukewarm water.
Lip Mask: Egg White
– After lip exfoliation using your lip scrub, your lips are going to be more sensitive as it is in the process of skin renewal and developing fresh skin. With that in consideration, you have to make the lips relaxed by using a lip mask. Egg whites are quite famous for making the skin firmer and suppler. It’s nothing new that egg whites are used as face masks, but did you know that you can also use it for the lips? Just leave the egg white on to your lips for twenty (20) to thirty (30) minutes to help your lips heal faster.
Lip Balm: Solidified Coconut Oil
– Of course you can use lip balms that you can buy from stores, but if you want something more affordable and more beneficial for your lips, coconut oil is one of the best options. If you put virgin coconut oil in the fridge for about half an hour, it will become solid. When it becomes solid, that is the perfect time for you to use it as a lip balm or lip moisturizer. This is not something you can bring anywhere with you though because once you go out, the oil will melt. Coconut oil is perfect for soothing and calming the skin while moisturizing and healing it. It is also antibacterial so it will definitely protect your lips from bacteria while improving its color and texture.
Healthier skin involves healthier lips. It needs a lot more care that we thought it requires. Plus, having soft and healthy lips is always an asset. You don’t have to even wear lip tints or lipsticks just to make them look better. Healthy lips always call for a kiss!
